Brand & identity
Identity is everything your brand does on repeat. Let me walk you through how we build it, from the first hello to the files your team will use for years. Tools and people included.
You show me where the brand is now and where it needs to go. If something already exists, I audit it honestly: what to keep, what to retire, what is quietly working against you.
We agree the scope in plain language and book the kickoff. No moodboard theatre before we understand the actual problem.
Before I draw anything, we agree a direction. I map the visual language of your category, spot the cliches everyone leans on, and stake out a look that is unmistakably yours.
I design the core mark and wordmark, then the responsive variants: the version for a billboard and the one that still reads at sixteen pixels. A logo is a signature, not the entire brand.
a logo you have to explain is a logo you have to redo
Now it becomes a system: typography, colour, layout, iconography and imagery, chosen so they work together and hold up across every format.
This is where typography does the heavy lifting. The right typeface makes everything you make afterwards feel considered.
If your product lives in the real world, packaging is where the brand meets a hand. I design it with proper dielines and print specs, and work with your printer so what ships matches what we approved.
A brand only stays consistent if people can use it without you in the room. You get guidelines written to be followed, not admired: clear rules, real examples, and templates for the things you make most.
An organised logo suite, the full identity system, guidelines and working templates, plus me on call while your team gets comfortable using it.
Before you ask
A logo is one mark. An identity system is everything around it: type, colour, layout and imagery, plus the rules that keep them consistent, so your brand looks like itself everywhere.
Yes. I design packaging with proper dielines and print specs, and work directly with your printer or a production partner so the final product matches what we approved.
